Christine is a qualified Lebanese lawyer and a solicitor of England and Wales, with 16 years of post-qualification experience. She has practiced in the United Arab Emirates since 2016, having previously worked at Al Tamimi & Company and Dentons in Dubai. She is an IMI- and CEDR-accredited mediator, and a Weinstein JAMS Fellow. Her passion for mediation led her to found the Mediation Hub MENA, where she holds the positions of founding member and executive director. Christine is on the mediators' roster of the Compliance Advisor Ombudsman (CAO) of the World Bank Group. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is registered as a mediator on the panel of the ADGM Court-Annexed Mediation Scheme, on the panel of mediators of the DIFC courts, and with Mediation Chambers. Christine specializes in resolving complex disputes in family-business, shareholder, and commercial matters, both as party representative and as mediator, through mediation, conciliation, and amicable-settlement advice. She provides Emirati-law advice, pre-litigation support, and governance dispute-prevention services. Christine has also practiced as a business lawyer, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings, as well as governance and compliance matters in the Middle East, notably in the UAE and Saudi Arabia - including transactions involving family businesses, where ownership structures and succession considerations often intersect with strategic legal decisions. She is a trainer in mediation, negotiation, and mediation advocacy at several reputable training institutes and academic institutions.
