Christian Makary received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from St. Joseph University of Beirut in 1993. He holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies CES in oral surgery from Paris 7 University, a University Diploma DU in implantology from Bordeaux 2 University and a University Diploma DU in oral mucosal pathology from Paris 5 University. He also holds a DEA advanced studies diploma and a Doctorate in oral biology from St. Joseph University in Beirut. He is an Associate Professor Director of Master in Oral surgery and implantology and former head of the Oral Surgery Department at St. Joseph University of Beirut. Since May 2019, he has been President of the Federation of USJ Alumni Associations.
