Dr. Chirine Fares holds a Doctor of Medicine degree (MD from Saint Joseph University, Lebanon) and a PhD in clinical psychology and psychopathology (from the University of Picardie Jules Verne, France). She is the author of scientific articles on the dimension of affect at the level of the body, and a psychoanalytic psychotherapist whose research has focused on the clinical study of mania and melancholia, psychotrauma, and its effects on temporality.
