Charbel Mansour is a physiotherapist who graduated from the Institut de physiothérapie at Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth (USJ) in 2018. An inhalation therapist at Hôtel-Dieu de France since February 2019, he has more than seven years of hospital experience in pulmonology and intensive care. Since July 2021, he has also practised physiotherapy at In Good Health Clinics, combining manual therapy, dry needling, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and pelvic floor rehabilitation, notably for urinary incontinence and after prostatectomy.
He holds a Master’s degree in Manual Therapy and Osteopathy (Master TMO) from USJ, where this clinical focus shaped his thesis: a pilot randomised controlled trial examining the addition of osteopathic treatment to a protocol combining pelvic floor muscle training and functional magnetic stimulation for post-prostatectomy urinary incontinence.
He has also completed Sorbonne Université’s WEB-DU Prise en charge à domicile des appareillages respiratoires (ARD), a university diploma in the home management of respiratory devices, and since September 2026 has been enrolled in USJ’s Doctor of Physiotherapy programme (Diplôme de docteur en physiothérapie, DPT).
His presentation to IPHY-USJ alumni on pelvic floor rehabilitation and the medical podcast Dr.Cast LB, which he launched in 2024, both reflect his interest in sharing knowledge. Now teaching at USJ’s Institut de physiothérapie as a chargé d’enseignement, he aims to pass on what clinical practice has taught him, help future physiotherapists develop their clinical reasoning and keep learning himself, so that his teaching stays current and evidence‑based.
