I am Msgr. Antoine Mikhael, a priest of the Maronite diocese of Tripoli. I was born in Kfarsghab (Zgharta district) on October 10, 1963. I did my primary studies at the Holy Family school in Kfarsghab and my intermediate and secondary studies in Zgharta. In 1982, I entered the Maronite Patriarchal Seminary of Ghazir, where I completed my priestly formation and obtained a bachelor's in theology from the Pontifical Faculty of Theology of the Holy Spirit University - Kaslik in 1988. At the end of 1988, I went to Rome to continue my theological studies. In 1990, I obtained a specialized License in dogmatic theology from the Gregorian University, with a thesis titled 'Man and His Sin: A Philosophical, Psychoanalytic, and Theological Reading of the Mystery of Evil,' and in 1992 a Doctorate in dogmatic theology on the theme 'Jesus as Prophet.' In 1993, I began my career as a teacher of dogmatic theology at Kaslik and at the Karmsaddeh Seminary. In 2021, I obtained the title of full professor in theology from the Vatican Dicastery for Education. Currently, in addition to teaching at Kaslik and contributing to local and international theological colloquia, I teach dogmatic courses at Antonine University and in several lay-formation centers. In terms of ecclesiastical duties, I have held the position of vicar general of the Maronite Diocese of Tripoli since 2018, and rector of the Karmsaddeh Seminary since 2012. Karmsaddeh, January 21, 2026 - Msgr. Antoine Mikhael.
