Afaf Dagher was born in the Metn district, Lebanon, in 1982. She received the Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering from the Lebanese University, Faculty of Engineering, in 2006. She gained more than 15 years of professional experience working on engineering projects involving electrical systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), and HVAC systems.
In 2023, she received the Master’s degree in Renewable Energy through a joint program between the Lebanese University and Saint Joseph University of Beirut. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Energy Engineering at Saint Joseph University of Beirut.
Her research interests include power electronics, Dual Active Bridge converters, wireless power transfer, and electric vehicle applications, as well as advanced control techniques such as perturb and observe (P&O), phase-shift control, and variable-frequency modulation. She has authored several peer-reviewed publications, including conference papers.
