Research themes

Enseignant Thematique

Yara Safi’s research has primarily focused on biomedical engineering, particularly in cardiovascular implantable medical devices. She has worked on developing stents for heart valves, designing innovative solutions for tricuspid valve repair, and investigating the mechanical resilience of cranial implants. Her work includes materials engineering, particularly for polymer-based vascular prostheses and heart valves, and has emphasized applying finite element analysis (FEA) for simulating medical implant behaviors under stress.
