
Brian PAULSON, s.j.
R.P. Brian Paulson, S.J., is President of the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States, where he oversees joint projects on behalf of the provincials. Previously, he served as Provincial of the United States Midwest Province, President of Saint Ignatius College Prep in Chicago, and Rector of the Jesuit Community at Loyola University Chicago.
Before entering the Society of Jesus in 1981, Fr. Paulson earned a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (B.S.F.S.) from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He holds a Master of Arts in Philosophy (M.A.) from Loyola University Chicago, a Bachelor of Sacred Theology (S.T.B.) from the Loyola Faculty of Paris, a Licentiate in Sacred Theology (S.T.L.) from the School of Theology and Ministry at Boston College, and a Master of Education (Ed.M.) from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of America Media and Jesuit Refugee Service – USA.
