Enseignant Profile

Engr. Eiko Minami, a Japanese national, holder of bachelor’s degree in engineering having taken masters courses in Clinical Psychology, has been engaged in social and humanitarian assistance of vulnerable populations in the Middle East and in Asia. Building on her professional career as a theater actress in Japan, she founded “Dreamers Japan in Lebanon” in 2014, an amateur theatrical drama group in 2014. She trains Arab youth by transmitting her passion and knowledge not only in theatre performance with Japanese language but also provides them with important life skills such as self esteem, communication, leadership, teamwork and conflict resolution. Her play is a unique embodiment of intercultural dialogue and carries a message of peace and tolerance. She currently gives a course on Japanese language at the Saint Joseph University, Beirut.
