Enseignant Profile

Marianne Antar Soutou is a pharmacist clinical biologist, graduated from Saint Joseph University of Beirut. Supported by Mérieux Foundation, she conducted trainings in Paris for the microbiological diagnosis of tuberculosis under appropriate biosafety and biosecurity conditions. She became responsible of the Rodolphe Mérieux laboratory in 2018 and the laboratory was nominated National Tuberculosis Reference Laboratory by the Ministry of Public Health in 2019. She is currently pursuing her PhD studies in Microbiology at Université Paris Cité, in the associated site of the National Reference Center for Mycobacteria in Paris, with the support of Mérieux Foundation.
