Elie Helou is a urologist at Hôtel-Dieu de France University Hospital an Assistant Professor at Saint Joseph University (USJ) in Beirut, Lebanon.He is a health economist, lecturer, and educator at the Institute of Public Health (ISSP), the Faculty of Nursing Sciences (FSI), and the Faculty of Medicine (FM) at USJ. He serves as the Head of the Quality Assurance Committee and Academic Advisor for the University Diploma in Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, USJ.Since 2010, he has been an operating room expert in laparoscopic urology training at IRCAD in Strasbourg, France. He also holds a university diploma in medical pedagogy.Dr. Helou has authored over 20 publications in the fields of urology, health economics, health informatics, and simulation-based education.
