Gloria Abdo is senior lecturer since 2011 at USJ, where she teaches courses on leadership, community mobilization and facilitation, citizenship, civic engagement, volunteering, and community service. Gloria holds a bachelor's degree in social work, specializing in group dynamics and community mobilization, as well as a master's degree in leadership and human resource management. She is currently pursuing a PhD in leadership and human resource management at USJ, where her research further strengthens her contributions in these fields. She began her work at USJ in 2008, and since 2019, Gloria has served as the director of the Student Life office at USJ, which she founded to enhance student engagement and development. Gloria is also a certified trainer in advocacy and policy influence, and in monitoring and evaluation of humanitarian and social programs with MDF (Netherlands). She is a certified mentor for social entrepreneurs by the Mowgli Foundation (UK) and has received advanced training in social entrepreneurship at ESSEC Business School. Since 2011, Gloria has been a recognized consultant and independent trainer, collaborating with a wide range of clients in Lebanon and in the region, including NGOs, government institutions, volunteer movements, and private companies. Her expertise in leadership, strategic planning, and capacity building has earned her a solid reputation as a transformative actor in civil society and community organizations. **Professional affiliations and contributions:** Gloria's influence extends internationally through her involvement in various organizations and initiatives: - Member of the International Leadership Academy. - Founding member and secretary of the NGO Al-Mazeed. - Member of the General Assembly of the NGO Min-Ila. - Editor for the European Journal of Social Work. - Member of the Society of Student Affairs Deanship’s Management (SSADM) in the Arab region. - Focal point for Lebanon and research lead in an international study on Generation Z, involving 32 countries.
