Rawad is a Computer Engineer with 18+ years of experience in Software development leadership. Rawad graduated as valedictorian from Saint Joseph’s University in 2006. Straight out of school, Rawad led a successful career in Murex, a global leader in the financial software solutions for the capital markets. Rawad has to his credit several pioneering moves within Murex that led to the burst of its Beirut office as a core engineering power hub: starting with developing the technology to enable automated testing all the way to leading the development of the core technology responsible for low latency financial calculations. Rawad then held the role of CTO CPO at the UK Lebanon Tech Hub, a leading startup accelerator in Lebanon with regional global outlook, where he shaped the experience of tens of startups over his tenure. Rawad is a certified Scrum and SAFe practitioner with a special liking to all things process and abstract. Rawad has a distinguished ability to bridge the gap between engineering teams and business leaders. Rawad founded RAMS in 2018, to bring his experience to the next level through the service of companies looking to use technology to improve their business offerings.
