Marie-Claude Chaftari Kamar holds a PhD in Economics Management from Sorbonne Paris-Nord University. She is a lecturer, a member of the doctoral schools scientific committee, and teaches statistical methods as well as econometric theory and applications at the Faculty of Economics, Saint-Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon. She participates in studies conducted by the Statistics Center of the University. Her research themes focus on econometrics and applied modeling in the economics of aging and pensions, migration flows, and macroeconomic dynamics.
