An experienced physiologist with over 20 years of academic experience at the Faculty of Medicine at Saint Joseph University in Beirut. He serves as the Director of the Doctoral School of Sciences & Health and oversees undergraduate medical and scientific master’s programs.His expertise includes international curriculum accreditation, scientific advisory roles, doctoral school leadership, and academic counseling. His laboratory research focuses on signaling pathways in cardiac and renal diseases, including preclinical translational studies, pathogenesis, and the development of novel therapeutic strategies.He has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications and received several prestigious awards, including:CNRS-L Excellence in Research Award (November 2016) in the field of cardiovascular physiology and pathophysiologyCEDRE France-Lebanon Intergovernmental Research Award (June 2006) in health sciencesMetrics: h-index: 21; citations: 1,184.
