The Board of Trustees met for the first time on February 19, 2022. The Board of Trustees shall ensure that the University's mission as defined in its Charter is respected. It is the guarantor of academic freedom and ratifies the development strategies adopted by the University's bodies. It also ensures the financial support necessary for the University's action and the continuity of its mission.

The Board of Trustees is composed of twelve members chosen among prominent figures outside the University, recognized for their integrity and expertise in the academic, financial, economic, ethical and social fields.

The Board of Trustees meets upon convocation by its President at least twice a year and whenever deemed necessary.
