Students will explore advanced subtitling techniques, including dealing with technical constraints and time constraints, audiodescription, and AVT for the blind and partially sighted. Dubbing and voice-over methodologies will be refined, with a focus on achieving synchronization and maintaining linguistic and cultural integrity. The course will also address the ethical considerations inherent in audiovisual translation. Through hands-on projects and real-world scenarios, students will further hone their skills, preparing them for the nuanced challenges of professional audiovisual translation in various contexts.
