Salam Harb is a Registered Midwife with a bachelor’s degree in Midwifery from the Lebanese University, and certification from the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (USA). She has served as a Breastfeeding Specialist at the Maternal and Child Health Center in Sharjah, UAE, and as a Head Midwife at Al Zahra Hospital, Sharjah.
Currently, she’s the appointed monitor of the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) process for the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health. She is also a National IYCF Trainer and IYCF Committee member at the Lebanese Association for Early Childhood Development (LAECD). Mrs. Harb delivers WHO/UNICEF workshops for midwives and monitors the BFHI implementation
