Chers élèves du cycle secondaire,

La Faculté de Gestion et de Management (FGM) de l’Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth, en partenariat avec le Mouvement International des Chefs d’Entreprises Libanaises (MIDEL), a le plaisir de lancer la 6ᵉ édition de sa compétition scolaire en entrepreneuriat sur la thématique :

ProtoChallenge 2026 : du concept au produit

Créez une solution qui améliore la vie au quotidien

Cette compétition s’adresse aux lycéens désireux de relever un défi stimulant, concret et formateur : identifier un problème du quotidien, imaginer une solution utile et la transformer en un produit physique sous forme de prototype.

Objectifs de la compétition

  • Stimuler la créativité, l’esprit critique et l’innovation
  • Initier les élèves à la démarche entrepreneuriale
  • Passer de l’idée au prototype démontrable
  • Développer des compétences clés : travail en équipe, analyse, communication et impact

Qui peut participer ?

  • Élèves du cycle secondaire
  • Participation en équipe de 2 à 5 élèves
  • Projets soumis en français ou en anglais

Projets attendus

Les équipes doivent proposer un produit physique (et non une application mobile) qui apporte une amélioration concrète à la vie quotidienne (domaines libres : éducation, santé, environnement, énergie, mobilité, bien-être, inclusion, technologie, etc.).

Évaluation et récompenses

  • Évaluation par un jury et vote du public le même jour de la cérémonie de remise des prix. (La date sera communiquée ultérieurement)
  • Cadeaux pour les trois équipes gagnantes
  • Certificat de participation pour tous les participants

Calendrier

  • Février 2026 : lancement officiel de la compétition
  • 30 mars 2026 : dépôt final des projets en ligne
  • Avril 2026 : exposition des prototypes sur le campus de l’USJ et cérémonie de clôture et de remise des cadeaux

Dear High School Students,

The Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) Business School (FGM), in collaboration with the USJ students Information and Orientation Office and in partnership with the International Movement of Lebanese Business Leaders (MIDEL), is pleased to launch the 6th edition of its school entrepreneurship competition under the theme:

ProtoChallenge 2026: From Concept to Product
Create a solution that improves everyday life

This competition is open to high school students eager to take on a stimulating, hands-on, and enriching challenge: identifying an everyday problem, imagining a useful solution, and turning it into a physical product in the form of a prototype.

Objectives of the Competition

  • Foster creativity, critical thinking, and innovation
  • Introduce students to the entrepreneurial approach
  • Move from idea to a demonstrable prototype
  • Develop key skills: teamwork, analysis, communication, and impact

Who Can Participate?

  • Secondary school students
  • Teams of 2 to 5 students
  • Projects submitted in French or English

Expected Projects

Teams are required to propose a physical product (not a mobile application) that brings a tangible improvement to everyday life (open fields: education, health, environment, energy, mobility, well-being, inclusion, technology, etc.).

Evaluation and Awards

  • Evaluation by a jury and public voting on the same day as the award ceremony (date to be announced later)
  • Gifts for the three winning teams
  • Certificate of participation for all participants

Timeline

  • February 2026: Official launch of the competition
  • March 30, 2026: Final online submission of projects
  • April 2026: Prototype exhibition on the FGM campus, followed by the closing and award ceremony (details to be communicated later)
