Together on the Path to Excellence

Fondation USJ, founded by Rector Prof. Salim Daccache, SJ, in 2015, is the University’s dedicated fundraising entity. It provides essential support to students facing financial hardship, helps drive the University’s development projects, and contributes to patient care by addressing the needs of the University Medical Center, Hôtel-Dieu de France and its hospital network.

As the driving force behind the major projects of USJ and HDF, Fondation USJ is the central body within Saint Joseph University of Beirut, authorized to raise funds. Through its initiatives, campaigns, and programs, Fondation USJ aims to:

• Raise funds to support students, and promote academic excellence and research.

• Raise funds to support the development of HDF and the care of its patients.

• Build and nurture lasting partnerships with USJ and HDF donors.

• Capitalize on USJ and HDF’s global network of alumni, friends, and partners
