Conditions for Admission

Academic Requirements

• Bachelor degree in law or an equivalent diploma
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (American Grading System) or its established equivalent

Language Requirements

All candidates must have a valid English Proficiency Score IELTS 6, TOFEL 550 & EmSAT 1400.

Conditional Admission

Applicants who do not meet the GPA requirement will be considered for conditional admission for their first semester. This applies to candidates who have a minimum GPA of 2.5 (American System) or its established equivalent. They shall take a maximum of 12 credits in the first semester of study and must keep a good academic standing throughout the semester in order to continue their studies.

Applicants who do not meet the English proficiency requirement will be considered for Conditional Admission. They shall take a maximum of 12 credits in the first semester of study and achieve a valid English test score and keep a good academic standing throughout the first semester of study.

LL.M. Application Documents

All applicants shall provide the following documents:

1. Registration form duly completed
2. Curriculum vitae
3. Copy of student passport (valid) and Emirates ID (valid)
4. Copy of valid residence visa for non-UAE Nationals (or to apply for a Student Visa application process through the University)
5. Copy of the High School Diploma or its equivalent by the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates and High School transcripts (Year 12)
6. Certified copy of University degree by the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates (all fields accepted) and University transcripts
7. 3 recent passport-size colored photographs
8. Good Conduct Certificate (valid)
9. Valid English Language test certificate reflecting the required score
10. Copy of Family book, Unified and Ethbara number for UAE Nationals

Fees

Registration fees of 1575 AED inclusive of 5% VAT (nonrefundable).
