The relation between routinely administered vaccines to infant and their ability to protect them from SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.
Description :
There are supportive evidence indicating that a vaccine can either cross-protect against related pathogens. Based on this observation, we will be evaluating routine vaccination and the relation with the very low severity cases related to the COVID-19 pandemic in pediatric age categories, by qualitative detection of Immunoglobulins (IgM and IgG) that are specifically generated in response to each type of vaccine (Measles, Polio…) and a possible cross reactivity with specific antigens of SARS-CoV-2.
