Cette Unité d’Enseignement de base est obligatoire et se donne en sixième année du cursus de Master Spécialisation en Orthodontie. A l’issue de cette Unité d’Enseignement l’étudiant sera capable de simuler un traitement orthodontique sur typodont. A l’issue de cette Unité d’Enseignement l’étudiant doit avoir acquis la connaissance et les compétences nécessaires pour composer un projet de recherche .
