Évaluation de la stabilité de la couleur des taches blanches traitées par infiltration superficielle ou en profondeur après immersion dans différentes solutions colorantes : étude In Vitro comparative.

Description :

30 bovine incisors are stored in widely used 0.1% thymol solution at room temperature until they are utilized in the study.once the teeth are taken out of the storage media and thoroughly cleaned, they will be painted with an acid-resistant nail varnish leaving a circle with a diameter of 0.8 mm in the center of the buccal surface of each tooth. These standardized circles are made by using a custom-made round sticker. The sticker will be then pasted on the tooth surface, after removing the backing paper covering the adhesive surface, and the surface will be painted with a nail varnish. Once the varnish dried, the sticker will be peeled off using tweezers to leave a small uncovered circle at the center of the buccal surface of the tooth. This established circle seen at the center of the tooth will be then ready to be demineralized using the demineralizing solution. A single trained operator will be responsible for carrying out all of the necessary steps. To create a WSL on the enamel of labial surfaces, each tooth will be immersed for 4 days at pH 4.4 in a demineralizing solution containing (2.2 mM CaCl2, 2.2 mM KH2PO4, and 50mM acetic acid). After demineralization, specimens will be washed thoroughly with fresh deionized water (DW). After this procedure, each tooth will show white circular areas representing the artificial white spots. Artificial WSLs created on the labial enamel surface of 30 anterior bovine teeth will be treated according to manufacturer’s instructions, forming the following groups: Group 1: Control Group Group 2: Resin infiltration (Icon®; DMG, Hamburg, Germany). Group 3: Resin infiltration (Icon®; DMG, Hamburg, Germany) followed by TEGDMA/HEMA-free low shrinkage resin composite (els;Saremco AG, Rebstein, Switzerland).
