Center for Computer Science, Modeling and Information Technology

CIMTI applies mathematical modeling and numerical simulation tools in the field of information engineering. Its research lies at the intersection of computer science and networks, where information, communication, and computation are mutually complementary. Its work therefore covers applications, services and their data, as well as the underlying communication infrastructure.

Mission
Scientific mission: plan and conduct multidisciplinary research in computer science and networks, and contribute to knowledge through effective dissemination of results;
Academic mission: place the scientific expertise of its members at the service of faculty and students within the Faculty of Engineering, through its computing infrastructure and research environment;
Industry mission: promote collaboration with industry by providing consulting, training, and testing services to companies.
