Effects of aerosols and urban heat islands on urban and semi-rural climatology in Lebanon

The scope of work consists of a series of sequential interrelated activities starting with literature review, WRF model set-up, followed by past and future climate simulations for an urban and rural location in Lebanon, and concluded with the study of whether the urban precipitation and temperature in Lebanon have changed as a result of the presence of urban heat islands and aerosols.
