I am Carine Zaraket, born on September 12, 1990. I hold a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from ESIB (École Supérieure d’Ingénieurs de Beyrouth), Class of 2013. I obtained my PhD in 2022 in France, where my research focused on the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) and blockchain technologies in the renewable energy sector. Professionally, I serve as an Information Security Manager at Midis Group, where I lead governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives, with a strong focus on information security, regulatory alignment, and enterprise risk management. In parallel, I am an Associate Professor at Antonine University, where I teach Network Architecture, Introduction to Networks, and Signals & Communications. Through my academic role, I strive to bridge theory and practice, equipping students with the skills required to meet evolving industry demands. My interests lie at the intersection of emerging technologies and secure systems, particularly in IoT, blockchain, and renewable energy. I am passionate about contributing to innovation by combining academic research with real-world industrial applications.
