Antoine Abou Jaoude is a molecular and cell biologist with expertise in signaling pathways, epigenetics, and developmental biology. He obtained his PhD from the University of Strasbourg, where his research focused on the role of the adaptor protein ShcA in atherosclerosis, cartilage biology, and chondrocyte differentiation using in vivo mouse models, primary cells, and 3D tissue engineering approaches. He then pursued postdoctoral research at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, investigating the epigenetic regulation of embryonic stem cell differentiation and foeto-placental development through the control of Tet enzymes by CXXC-domain proteins. In parallel, Antoine has developed strong technical expertise in CRISPR genome editing, singlecell and NGS technologies, and advanced imaging, later applying these skills as an Application Scientist in industry. His research interests lie at the interface of metabolism, epigenetics, and embryonic development, with a focus on how early-life environments shape long-term phenotypes
