Dr. Tamara Rebeiz is a Lebanese periodontist and implantologist who holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) diploma from Saint Joseph University and a Master’s degree in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry from the same university, and is currently pursuing a joint PhD between Saint Joseph University and Paris Sorbonne Nord. She has also completed advanced training certificates in mucogingival surgery and oral implantology, alongside an IBM certification in Artificial Intelligence. Dr. Rebeiz maintains a private clinical practice in Beirut and serves as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Periodontology at Saint Joseph University. Her clinical expertise also extends to her role as a periodontist at the Military Hospital of Beirut. She is an active member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and a frequent invited speaker at regional and international conferences, including EuroPerio, CAPP, the Beirut International Dental Meeting, and multiple ITI Study Clubs across the Middle East. Since January 2026, she has also been a speaker for Straumann. Her research interests include periodontal regenerative therapies, peri-implant disease management, mucogingival surgery, implant treatment outcomes, and the integration of artificial intelligence into periodontal decision-making. She has authored several peer-reviewed publications spanning periodontal plastic surgery, peri-implantitis treatment modalities, altered passive eruption, endodontic shaping systems, implant risk assessment tools, and AI-supported periodontal therapy optimization.
