Sister Nawal Ibrahim Akiki is a nun of the Sisters of the Holy Hearts and has been engaged in education for more than twenty-five years. Her career reflects a constant commitment to the integral formation of the person and of youth. Involved in education since 2000, she has been Head of the Holy Hearts Sisters' School - Ain Najm since 2015 and, since 2022, has directed the Holy Hearts School of Kfardebiane. There she deploys an educational vision combining academic rigor, pedagogical excellence, and the search for meaning, faithful to the Holy Hearts charism: forming the whole person in all dimensions - human, intellectual, social, and spiritual. She implemented the French curriculum at the Holy Hearts Ain Najm school in 2018 and led the launch of the International Baccalaureate in 2024. She holds bachelor's degrees in Philosophy and Theology, two master's degrees in School Management and Human Resources Management, and a diploma in mediation, all obtained at Saint Joseph University of Beirut. She is currently a doctoral candidate in education sciences at USJ. Her professional experience was built through responsibilities held in Chad and within several Holy Hearts institutions, notably in Kfarhbab, Sioufi, and Ain Najm, as well as through the creation and support of missionary and volunteer groups. Trained in quality management (ISO 9001:2015), she combines responsible governance, pedagogical innovation, and human values. In 2025, she was elected councilor to the General Council of the Congregation and appointed Head of the Pedagogical Office of the Sisters of the Holy Hearts. In this capacity, she coordinates, in partnership with the USJ Faculty of Education Sciences, the training of the Holy Hearts educational network's leaders at USJ. She is also a member of the Pedagogical Council of the General Secretariat of Catholic Schools in Lebanon, where she coordinated the Catholic schools colloquium for four years. Through her work, Sister Nawal Ibrahim Akiki strives to form responsible, free, and committed generations.
