Farah HOMSI received a diploma in Civil Engineering from the Lebanese University in 2007, a Master's Degree in Geological, Civil and Environmental Engineering from Bordeaux 1 University in 2008 and a Ph.D. degree in civil Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Nantes in 2011.
Farah Homsi’s main Research Topics are the Design of Asphalt Pavements (Real loading signals, evaluation of the fatigue life of asphalt pavements, Validation of a flexible pavement model) and Sustainable Concrete (Concrete recycling and solid waste material concrete).
Since September 2019, she is a full-time assistant professor at Ecole Supérieure d’Ingéneirus de Beyrouth, Saint-Joseph’s University of Beirut, teaching courses related to Construction Materials, General Construction Procedures, Traffic Engineering, Road and Pavement Engineering, Planning and Management of Large-Scale Projects and Mobility and Safety in Urban Areas. She also supervises Masters’ thesis in the area of road safety, and PhD thesis in the areas of construction materials and pavement design.
Since September 2023, she is the Assistant Director of Administrative Affairs at Ecole Supérieure d’Architecture de Beyrouth, Saint-Joseph’s University of Beirut.
Farah Homsi is a member of the Order of Engineers & Architects of Tripoli.
She was a member of the Scientific Committee of the Order of Engineers and Architects of Tripoli between June 2018 and May 2019.
