Doctor of Physical therapy, specialized in lymphedema / Lipedema management cancer rehabilitation with focus on breast cancer. I am a public health practitioner with interest in breast cancer rehabilitation interprofessional collaboration in cancer care. Graduated in 2005 from Saint-Joseph University of Beirut (Lebanon) with a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy and in 2008 obtained a master’s degree in manual therapy and osteopathy. In 2019, I completed a master’s degree in public health – Politics and Health Management – from Saint-Joseph University of Beirut in Lebanon. May 2020, I completed Level 4 in Cancer rehabilitation from CanRehab, UK. I am a LANA (Lymphology Association of North America) certified therapist since November 2020, and I have received Lymphedema/Lipedema trainings in Foeldi Clinic in Germany and Campisi Clinic in Italy. In December 2023, I received my Oncology Rehabilitation certificate from Oakland University (Michigan – USA). I am a regional speaker and trainer in breast cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema/Lipedema management and I coordinate the Lebanese oncology, hospice and palliative care physiotherapy subgroup of the Lebanese Order of Physiotherapists (member of IPT-HOPE, WCPT). Currently, I am managing my outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Lebanon which offers a complete supportive care approach to cancer and lymphedema/Lipedema patients and I am a lecturer of the breast cancer rehabilitation and lymphology courses at the Saint-Joseph University of Beirut.
