Dr. Emilie El Hayeck obtained her Dental Surgery degree in 1999 as well as her specialist diploma in Orthodontics in 2003 from the Faculty of Dental Medicine of Saint Joseph University of Beirut. She obtained the distinction 'very good with the jury's congratulations' for her thesis in Orthodontics. She won second prize for best young speakers at the Orthodontics Days in 2003 at the Palais des Congres in Paris. She also obtained a certificate in bio-statistics and epidemiology in 2005 and a specialized-biochemistry certificate in 2008 from the Faculty of Medicine of Saint Joseph University. In 2009, she obtained the Master's in Biological and Medical Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine of Saint Joseph University. In 2010, she completed 'The Tweed Course' training at the Charles Tweed International Foundation for Orthodontic Research, Tucson, Arizona. She also holds a research Master's in Biology of the Oral Environment, option biomaterials, in 2018 from Saint Joseph University of Beirut. She obtained the distinction 'very good with the jury's congratulations' for her thesis. Author of several scientific articles published in international journals. From 2005, she was appointed a teacher in the Orthodontics department of the Faculty of Dental Medicine of Saint Joseph University. She was a tutor of several research projects for the final dissertations of second-cycle students at the Faculty of Dental Medicine of Saint Joseph University of Beirut. She was elected a member of the council of the Order of Dentists of Lebanon - Beirut in November 2018. She was president of the finance committee of the Order of Dentists of Lebanon - Beirut from December 2018 until November 2021.
