After a Master's in Economic Sciences obtained at Saint Joseph University, Edmond Chidiac obtained a DEA and then a doctoral degree in history from INALCO (Paris). From 1998 to 2021, he was a teacher in the Department of History-International Relations and, to a limited extent, at the ISP and the FSR. His research work focused mainly on the history of Lebanon and the Middle East. He also collaborated with Dar al-Mashreq to publish history and geography textbooks. He is currently a teacher at the University of Lorraine (France) and at USJ.
