Born in Lebanon, Dr. Habib earned an MD from USJ before specializing in internal medicine in New York and London. She then completed a dual nephrology specialization in both cities, along with a PhD in molecular biology from Imperial College.
Since 2020, she has been practicing as a nephrologist in the Adult Nephrology and Dialysis Department at Simone Veil Hospital in Cannes. With a career primarily in the UK’s NHS public hospitals, she specializes in kidney diseases (general nephrology), hypertension, diabetic nephropathy, and genetic kidney disorders such as polycystic kidney disease.
She also manages patients undergoing extracorporeal renal therapy, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. Dr. Habib actively supports Fondation USJ initiatives.
