Chairman and CEO, Berytech

Maroun N. Chammas is a Lebanese entrepreneur committed to strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem and advancing innovation. He has led Berytech since 2003, supporting startups and fostering entrepreneurship in Lebanon.

His career reflects this commitment. In 1995, he co-founded Data Management (now IDM), the country’s first internet service provider, and later relaunched Cablevision, modernizing access to television content. He also serves as Vice Chairman of MEDCO Holdings, contributing to the development of Lebanon’s energy sector.

Maroun N. Chammas has also played a key role in establishing and leading several venture capital funds.
