At Saint Joseph University, I obtained my PhD in Cryptography in 2019. As a dedicated and knowledgeable university professor, my interest is strongly focused on encouraging critical thinking and intellectual growth in students. I have extensive experience teaching courses such as Data Systems, Operating Systems, Cryptography and Network Security, Computer Systems Security (ISS), and Introduction to Programming. My engaged and student-centered teaching approach has consistently earned me favorable feedback. I have contributed significantly to the academic study of cybersecurity in addition to my teaching responsibilities. I have demonstrated my commitment to expanding the field of expertise by publishing in internationally renowned journals, such as the Journal of Information Security Application (JISA). Several research projects have been supervised by me. I am mainly dedicated to the study of homomorphic cryptography (HE), an innovative and cutting-edge field in cloud computing that allows computations on data encrypted by untrusted entities. With my experience of more than six years in this field, I have contributed to the creation of secure cloud computing applications where Homomorphic Encryption (HE) plays a key role in preserving users privacy when interacting with untrusted entities. I have also participated in the creation of new homomorphic systems and exploited the security features of a number of existing ones. My most recent research focuses on the integration of HE with machine learning (ML) domains, including neural network (NN) and federated learning (FL).
