Firas Yassine holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and a Master of Public Health degree with a specialization in Health Policy and Management. He recently joined the ISSP team as a lecturer-researcher. He has a background in clinical and non-clinical research and has previously worked in the health insurance field. In addition, Firas has worked with several local and international NGOs. He was Vice President of Public Relations and Communication at the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA) and had the opportunity to attend the WHO World Health Assembly twice as a young delegate. In his new role, he supervises the introductory courses in public and global health, teaches research techniques and guides MPH students in their dissertation projects.
