Enseignant Profile

Rachel Fiani obtaind her Bachelor's degree in Speech and language therapy (SLT) in 2013 from the Higher institute of SLT (ISO) at USJ, as well as her research Master's deegree in 2016, also at USJ. She is a PhD candidate in a joint supervision program between USJ and University of Tours in France. She is a faculty member at ISO, where she is currently the 4th year coordinator. She is also in charge of several courses, ranging from the first year to the Master's degree, and supervises theses. She participates in several research projects covering various areas such as written and oral language. She is particularly responsible for research projects in the fields of pragmatics and discourse. Pragmatics is indeed her area of preference, both in clinical practice and in research. Additionally, she is a member of the Internation Pragmatics Association.
