IoT-Leb is a leading IoT event that actively contributes to the development of a mature IoT ecosystem in Lebanon. The mission of IoT-Leb is twofold: bringing the IoT into the Lebanese market and positioning Lebanon on the IoT world map. The first 2017 edition organized by the Faculty of Engineering ESIB, Saint Joseph University of Beirut, gathered 400 participants around insightful discussions and exhibitions demonstrating that Lebanon has the required ecosystem to develop innovative IoT solutions for a wide variety of applications.
We invite you to watch a recap video of the event here
For the 2019 edition, ESIB engages a steering committee of distinguished professionals from ANSYS, AutomatiX, Berytech, CardioDiagnostics, Château Kefraya, CME, Data Consult, IM Capital, Joseph Tehini & Fils, LCTechHub, Scriptr, and SMG-Energy.
The 2019 edition will cover IoT end-to-end chain and applications with a special focus on IoT network infrastructure and regulations, cloud platforms, devices and things, agrofood, energy, and water management. Speakers from different backgrounds will present the recent innovations, opportunities, and research advances in these sectors.
IoT-Leb 19 will focus on fostering collaboration by bringing together all the IoT stakeholders such as technology and infrastructure providers, industries, universities, public sector, entrepreneurs, funders, and incubators.
IoT-Leb 19 will be a two-day event featuring inspiring keynotes, specialized sessions, dynamic panels, an exhibition, and a hackathon. It will be held at Jean Ducruet Auditorium, CST campus, Mar Roukos, on March 12-13, 2019.
We invite you on March 12, 2019 to join the first IoT-Leb Hackathon along with Lebanon's most talented hackers, programmers, makers, and entrepreneurs. IoT-Leb Hackathon is part of IoT-Leb 19 conference that will take place at ESIB-USJ, CST Campus, Mar Roukos.
In the evolution towards the Internet of Things, an increasing number of devices equipped with sensors and communication interfaces will interact and collect data, communicate over the internet, and provide valuable monitoring and automation services. IoT-Leb Hackathon is a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the technologies that are set to play an essential role in the IoT landscape. During the Hackathon, you will get exclusive access to the latest IoT technologies.
