In addition to providing students with a reasonable understanding of the functioning of financial markets, the module will cover crucial topics such as the different financial instruments, the mechanisms that influence the value of securities, along with the determination of the links between financial markets, monetary policy and economic growth. The course will refer to real examples to have a deeper understanding of the nature, design, and risks of the operations undertaken in the financial markets.
