Dr Anne-Marie HABIB (FM, 1986)
MD (Leb), ABIM (NY), MRCP, PhD, ACP FRCP and CCT in Nephrology (UK)
Nephrologist in the Public Health Sector
Born in Lebanon, Dr. Habib earned an MD from USJ before specializing in internal medicine in New York and London. She then completed a dual nephrology specialization in both cities, along with a PhD in molecular biology from Imperial College.
Since 2020, Dr. Habib has been practicing as a nephrologist in the Adult Nephrology and Dialysis Department at Simone Veil Hospital in Cannes. With a career primarily in the UK’s NHS public hospitals, she specializes in kidney diseases (general nephrology), hypertension, diabetic nephropathy, and genetic kidney disorders such as polycystic kidney disease. She also manages patients in need of extracorporeal renal therapy, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
Committed to supporting training and research, Dr. Habib actively contributes to the activities of Fondation USJ.
