I have been a professor at Saint Joseph University of Beirut since 2011 and the head of the Louis Pouzet Center for the Study of Ancient and Medieval Civilizations since 2014 to the present. I was the director of the annals of the Institute of Oriental Letters at Saint Joseph University, Beirut (2018–2022). I specialize in Arabic philosophy. My research mainly focuses on the philosophy of religion, classical Arabic philosophy, and the critical edition of philosophical texts (notably Yaḥyā Ibn ‘Adī and ‘Īsā Ibn Isḥāq Ibn Zur‘a). I have published more than 30 articles in the field of Arabic philosophy. I have been a member of the editorial board of the Al-Machreq Review since 2013.
