This course explores the legal frameworks, guidelines, and regulatory bodies that shape insurance operations globally, with a focus on both international and domestic regulations. Students will examine key topics such as solvency requirements, capital adequacy, anti-money laundering (AML) practices, FATF regulations, and consumer protection laws. The course also covers the role of insurance regulators, supervisory authorities, and compliance officers in ensuring the stability and integrity of the life insurance sector.
