Language and communication profiles in individuals with Complex communication needs : introduction and assessment

The objective of this course is to develop the body of knowledge related to the disparate language and communication profiles in children and youth with cerebral palsy (CP), autism spectrum disorders (ASD), intellectual disability (ID) and rare genetic disorders. The sessions mainly cover communication development relative to speech and language domains as well as the relationship between communication skills and motor/cognitive challenges.
