Effect of different mucosal thickness on crestal bone loss around platform switching implants: A pilot comparative clinical study.

Description :

This study consists of a surgical intervention to place 30 NuvoTM’s ConicalFITTM implants in an epicrestal position: 15 in thin tissue (<2mm) and 15 in a thick tissue (≥2mm), to evaluate peri-implant bone levels 2 months after implant placement and 1 year after functional loading of the implants. This would be possible by taking one pre-operative CBCT, a second two months later, and a third 1 year after implant functional loading.
