Dr. Naji Jalkh is an Associate Professor of Finance a distinguished member of the Research Committee at the Business School, Faculty of Business and Management at Saint Joseph University (USJ). He is an expert in Financial Markets, Energy, Applied Economics, and Risk Management. Dr. Jalkh has authored and co-authored numerous academic and professional studies published in esteemed international journals, including the Journal of Finance, Applied Economics, International Economics, Resources Policy, Energy, the International Review of Financial Analysis, the International Review of Economics and Finance, the International Journal of Managerial Finance, and Economic Modeling. In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Jalkh conducts quantitative seminars and research for other Faculties at Saint Joseph University. He has held significant positions in the industry, including Former Group Head of the Risk Analytics Department at Audi-Saradar Group, a leading regional bank in emerging markets, and Group Head of the Credit Risk Analytics Unit and the Risk Modeling Unit at Byblos Bank. Additionally, he served as the head of Risk Solutions at Capital Intelligence (CI), a prominent rating agency focused on emerging countries in Eastern Europe and the MENA region.
