In response to the ongoing war in Lebanon, the Psychiatry Department at Hôtel-Dieu de France (HDF) is fully committed to supporting patients and students affected by this difficult reality. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to help individuals cope with trauma and the psychological challenges of war, aiming to restore mental health and foster resilience.

At the same time, many patients face financial difficulties in covering their hospital bills. To address the increasing need for assistance, HDF University Medical Center (CHU) has established a “Social Solidarity Fund” to provide financial support to those without access to social security or private insurance, ensuring that care is accessible to those who need it most.
