The social work research laboratory (SWRL) is a structure whose mission is to consolidate the recognition of the Lebanese School of Social Work as a center of research and expertise in areas of social work, to instill change through the production of scientific knowledge emerging from the national and regional context in which the School works.
Its objectives are:
1.Promote social work research in all its forms and international publication
2.Create a unifying platform for the variety of research activities carried out by teacher-researchers and by students and young researchers
3.Improve the visibility of scientific productions and ensure their investment in initial, higher and professional training
The research axes covered by the SWRL are as follows:
•Axis 1 Social development and promotion of citizenship
•Axis 2 Individuals, families and social work: from vulnerability to well-being
•Axis 3 Social rights, social policies and socio-political actors
•Axis 4 Humanitarian crises, forced displacement, collective responsibilities and new forms of solidarity
