Université Saint‑Joseph de Beyrouth

The Institute of Muslim-Christian Studies was established in 1977 to promote understanding between Islam and Christianity, fostering mutual respect through academic methods. Despite the challenges of the Lebanese Civil War, the Institute continued its activities. In October 2000, it became affiliated with the newly created Faculty of Religious Studies. Today, the Institute provides education, research, and publication programs, while also maintaining a records center and a dedicated dialogue center.
